Cuffing season is officially here. That’s right couples, it’s time to cuddle with your boo while you watch football games together. And for all the single people out there, it’s time to put on your hoodies and feel lonely while watching your friends spend time with their partner. EXCEPT… you don't have to do that this year. For all you single peeps, here are a few tips on how to survive cuffing season.

- Get cuffed. I know it sounds kind of silly, but if this season makes you want a boo… go for it. (If you don’t want a relationship then just skip on to the next tips!) Talk to that guy/girl get to know them, and make sure that this relationship is a positive thing in your life before jumping into it. Most importantly make sure you have both the time and energy to handle a relationship right now.
- Let the real you out. During this season, focus on yourself. As good as it is to go out with friends and meet new people, sometimes you just need to spend some time with yourself. There is nothing wrong with taking time fix some of your personal situations. Cuffing season is the perfect time to dive into your own needs.While others spend time loving their boo, you can spend time loving yourself. Focus on building up confidence. Let go of the people who are toxic in your life. Focus on making yourself the best you possible.
- Find a hobby. We all have things that we have wanted to do, but never have the time. So instead of letting your negative thoughts get to you… read a book, paint a picture. Spend time doing something you enjoy instead of letting this season get to you.
- Learn how to do something new. Have you always wanted to learn how to play an instrument, or learn how to bake… now is the time. Go for it and don’t look back! This will help distract you, because it is time consuming. You will no longer have time to worry and stress about being single.
- Spend time with friends. There is a high chance that your single friends are also feeling a bit lonely during this season. So get close with them and spend time with them. Go to a pumpkin patch and enjoy yourselves. Go to starbucks after school and have a ranting session. You could even go to a football game with them. The point is that you enjoy each others presence and become closer with them.
