As spring replaces the chilly winter season, the wait for new anime is over! And finally there as new things to fill up our time instead of procrastinating and cliffhangers that have been haunting watchers for months, years even. Here are some new anticipated anime to check out this spring. Boku no Hero Academia 3rd SeasonIn a world where everyone is born with a quirk (a super power) the citizens see a rise in crime. The job to become a ‘hero’ has been quirkless Izuku’s dream all his life. Even though society continuously tells Izuku that reaching his goal is impossible, that didn’t stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies. It takes a lot to be a hero, especially when it comes down to being #1. In the third season we await what two new villains, who were introduced at the end of season two, have in store for Izuku and his classmates.
Tokyo Ghoul:re
The second season left us off with a major cliffhanger. Due to trailers and teasers, the audience already figured out a spoiler that probably ruined a ‘reveal’ for those who didn’t read the manga. Tokyo Ghoul:re takes place two years after the CCG’s raid on Anteiku. Per usual ghouls continue to wreak havoc and the CCG have recently been taking caution due to the terrorist organization, Aogiri Tree. There is a team called the Quinx Squad that specializes in exterminating Ghouls. The leader of this group, Haise Sasaki (half-ghoul, half-human) has been trained by famed special class investigator, Kishou Arima. However, there’s more to this young man than meets the eye. As he becomes exposed to ghouls and familiar situations, those unknown memories begin to fill in the blanks and slowly remind him of the person he used to be.

In modern Tokyo, the story follows the adventures of very diverse group of teenagers who call themselves the “Phantom Thieves of Hearts.” Together with their different forms known as their Personas, the group do their best to solve crimes by reforming the source of corruption that resides within people’s hearts. If the animation and story line is just as good as it is in the Persona games, then this anime should be marked on everyone's calendar.
