How to Train your Dragon 3: The Hidden World---2/22/2019
The third story of How to Train your Dragon(2010), one of DreamWorks’ best animated franchises, is finally here. Turns out that Toothless is not the only Night Fury dragon after all. Aladdin brought controversy over not casting an Arab actress for Jasmine, which disappointed many fans. Nevertheless expectations are high for the quality of the first live action remake of long time loved Aladdin, shot in the Wadi Rum desert. This 2019 reimagining the story of Aladdin and the Magic Lamp will feature classic tunes of its 1992 film, along with new music from Alan Menken. |
Dumbo (Live Action)---3/29/2019
Tim Burton’s Dumbo live action is ready to tell a whole new story apart from the 1941 Disney animated version. The new Dumbo will tell the story after Dumbo, the little elephant in the circus gains his talent of flying. This version will also focus on human characters at the circus. Look forward to meeting the all-time-favorite elephant. |
Avengers 4: End Game---4/29/2019
Avengers 4: End Game, a direct sequel to Avengers 3: Infinity War, will mark the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s current generation, concluding the first ever finale for superhero movies. While Tony Stark (Downey Jr.) is lost in space, the remaining Avengers, Thor (Hemsworth), Black Widow (Johansson), Captain America (Evans), and Bruce Banner (Ruffalo) have to bring back their allies to face Thanos, the evil demigod who decimated the planet and universe. |

Apparently three movies are not enough to tell the life of toys. Toy Story 4 came unexpectedly, but we are certainly excited of what adventures the gang will lead us next. Bo Peep is back in Toy Story 4, and there’s a new toy named Forky to join this adventure. |

Lion King (Live Action)---7/19/2019
Yep, another Disney remake in live action. Followed by successful live action remakes of Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast, Jon Favreau directs Lion King this time. There is great anticipation for Hans Zimmer, the world renowned film composer, who will return for the sound track, as he did in the original 1994 film. Almost entirely made of CGI, impressive filmmaking techniques will bring the animal kingdom into life. |
Once Upon A Time in Hollywood---8/9/2019
With the starriest cast, Leonardo DiCaprio playing a struggling former Western actor, Brad Pitt, playing his stunt double, and their next door neighbor played by Margot Robbie, Quentin Tarantino returns with the story of 1969 Manson family murders. As the title indicates, this film also tells the story of LA and Hollywood back in 1969 that does not exist anymore. |
Frozen 2---11/27/2019
Frozen 2 comes out exactly six years after the first movie hit theaters on November 27, 2013. While the plot is still unknown, it is confirmed that the same cast and directors from the first Frozen movie will come back. Jennifer Lee, the director of Frozen 2, teased that the film will be focusing on Elsa (Menzel) and Anna (Bell), but will be bigger and more epic as they will go far out of Arendelle. She also hinted that the songs will be great. |
Star Wars IX (Title yet to be confirmed)---12/20/2019
Star Wars IX will be the third and final Star Wars film based around the Skywalker clan, following The Force Awakens in 2015, and the The Last Jedi in 2017. After Carrie Fisher’s death in December 2016, director Abrams announced that he would use unseen footage they shot together in episode XII to honor her legacy. Although no trailer is revealed, based on the unfortunate passing of Carrie Fisher, we can assume that Poe Dameron (Isaac) would be the leader of resistance in this episode. |
