Attention Free Riders! Proud people who are celebrating liberty while watching others tortured, ripped, and sizzled in work! Yes, I congratulate you for getting easy As on projects you don’t even studied the subject matter by successfully grabbing on to perfectionist nerds. In case you ever wondered, here are some instructions to show you how group projects are actually produced.
There’s Something Called Responsibility
Responsibility might sound like a difficult term for some of you, I mean all of you, since you never had it! How unfair. Well once you carry responsibility with you, you actually need to do things you promise to do, no matter what. In this case, I recommend that you do not promise to do anything at all in the first place. Or just say you might contribute when you finish other work, which you don’t really have. Oh, and go to bed early, so they can’t text you again!
There’s Something Called a Leader
Yes! That bossy human being who’s always nagging you to do something is not your grandma, but a leader! Don’t worry. A leader will divide up the work into littlest details at first, but end up doing everything! You just need to constantly ignore them and act like you don’t understand.
There’s Something Called a Due Date
“Due date” is not a cute date with a dude named Due, it’s the time limit work has to be done! Well that’s how they introduce one project after another right? Instead of always saying we have so much time to finish, which is not true, you might want to think of a smarter excuse for not doing any work! Hang in there, you just have to avoid your members all together until the due date, like you always do!
There’s Something Called Evaluation
You might have heard of this for the first time because evaluation is an assessment and reflection after the work! But oh well, you probably don’t need to know because you never knew what the work was about in the first place.
Free riders, I sincerely hope you find the best workaholics in every single group project of your life! Keep up the good work in avoiding all annoying terms mentioned above! Oh, and don’t forget that individual projects are done in a very different way! Good luck with your free riding life. I’m looking forward to what you’ll make out of it!
-Sincerely, your perfectionist nerd, bossy leader, and best workaholic ever
