Thousands of Women and allies took to the streets in cities across the United States. The Women’s march in San Jose works as a grassroots organization that was built to unify and celebrate those that stand for human rights, civil liberties and overall social justice. This year’s march was based around the concepts of Truth to Power and Women’s Wave (in reference to the wave of women in government). The overall turnout for the march this year in San Jose was about fifteen to thirteen thousand. Here are some pictures from the march.
