San Jose Municipal Rose Garden
The San Jose Municipal Rose Garden is a beautiful, quiet area where you can find many people who run, jog, or walk with their four-legged friends! It can get busy, particularly during prom and graduation season as it is a popular location for teens to take pictures due to the gorgeous flowers that bloom during April and May.
Japanese Friendship Garden
This garden is open and free to the public and is a nice place to walk around. There's plenty of greenery along with a beautiful red bridge that will look great in photos. This botanical garden near the Japantown neighborhood in San Jose is lovely and very peaceful. This place is inspired by the trees, ponds, and walkways commonly found in traditional gardens in Japan.
Saratoga Springs
This place has a breathtaking scenery within a forest area with tall trees that provide lots of shade. This location is hidden just off the road. Many small creeks nearby, and a great venue for nature photography and sessions.
Overfelt Gardens
This park takes up 33 acres of land and is full of greenery. A garden you should visit in this park is the Chinese Cultural Garden, which is full of history, and is a nice place to sit overlooking the large pond. All over the park are paved paths to walk throughout the area where you can take pictures by the beautiful trees or inside the small pagodas.
Evergreen Valley College
This college campus is very well kept and just around the corner and a very convenient place to take photos. Not only that it has a lot of space to take photos near the steps leading to the pond. There's also benches all around the campus where you can sit and take a picture with the trees in the background.
