For this week’s Raider’s Playlist, I collected a list of all time favorite throwback songs from students and asked them why they chose that song specifically. Hopefully, people can now refer to this playlist whenever they feel like jamming out to some throwback music. Here is what I gathered:

Treat Me Like Somebody by Tink: “It gets me in my feels whenever I simp.”- Aiyanna Flores 6. Pumped up Kicks by Foster The People: “Because it’s a very interesting song.”- Zazi Villarreal 7. What’s Luv? by Fat Joe: “It’s a easy song to jam to and it’s an old throwback that gives me good vibes and good memories from the past.”- Andrew Miranda 8. Mexico by RBD: “Because it is related with my culture.”- Nayeli Leon 9. It Wasn’t Me by Shaggy: “It is super catchy and funny.”- Raman Chera 10. See You Again by Charlie Puth: “Everytime I hear this song, it will remind me of someone I miss very much.”- Davin Vu 11. Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen: “It brings back old memories when my sister was still here before going on deployment.”- Emerald Cota 20.
